Description of Effortlessly hitch and cut with Starrett XA10 Quick Hitch Carbide Tipped
Carbide tipped pilot drill. Fits hole saws from 1 1/4" to 8 9/32". 11/32" Hex shank allows use of 3/8" chuck. Quick-Hitch arbors enable instant change outs of hole saws without additional tools and without removing the arbor from the chuck. Set screw in body allows for easy replacement of the pilot drill.
This saw accessory from the "Cutting Tools" category in "Hole Saws & Accessories" is a complete waste of money. The carbide-tipped teeth quickly wear down and become blunt, rendering the saw useless. The only pro is that it is easy to attach to a drill, but that doesn't make up for its poor performance. Industrial and scientific professionals should avoid this saw accessory at all costs.
Pros
Efficient and precise drilling with carbide tip
Cons
Pricier compared to other drill bits on the market
This arbor is good for concrete. I use an old nail to make a groove where I want to drill. This eliminates the "walk" that a drill might want to do when you first start drilling. But it drills through concrete easily. When attaching your hole saw, always make sure it is secure and you should be able to get the job done fairly quickly.
