Most reviews are not related to this product.

If you are reading these reviews make sure you are reading them for the product listed above (check "style name" above each review). In several reviews that mentioned Linux compatibility, I bought the "433 Mbps" model only to find that only 6 reviews out of 120 were actually for this product and that it wasn't Linux compatible at all. So I have no idea how good the product itself is, but the rating system gets one star.

I downloaded the driver provided on .

I downloaded the driver from the CD that came with it onto my IBM T42 laptop. I plugged this wireless network adapter into my laptop's USB port. My laptop recognized the adapter and used the newly loaded driver. This works very well. I connected to the internet using this WiFi adapter with my NETGEAR D6200 WiFi DSL router with modem (AC1200 Dual Band Gigabit).

Let your computer connect via Wi-Fi

This very small device only occupies 1 USB 2.0 slot on your computer. This allows it to connect to your WiFi using a 2.4GHz or 5GHz connection. Installation is simple: insert the included CD to install drivers for the device (or download drivers from the product website if desired), then plug the device into a USB 2.0 port on your computer/laptop . From there you can connect to the WiFi. The speed depends on your internet connection

Works great on Mac but with some limitations.

This seems to work fine on my Mac, a mid 2011 iMac with Sierra 10.12.5. The software is easy to download and install. Device plugged in and both it and the Apple Airport Wi-Fi were recognized immediately. Connected to WiFi with no problems. I'm using Little Snitch's firewall/monitor and they seem to coexist just fine. My Mac's internal Wi-Fi card has been suspect for several years. After a few hours or minutes it claimed to be fully connected but there was no access to the network. I had to…
