Didn't work for me. Maybe this one was a failure. Installed fine, but then Windows shut it down with code 43 after 10 minutes and said "device reported a problem". Tried everything I could think of including multiple drivers, different PCE express ports etc. Same - COde 43 after 10 minutes. going back.

The card worked and installed perfectly in the *8 PCIe slot. I set it to autonegotiate with a 10g managed 12 port switch! I get a very good double 10g mix every time!

I installed this on Linux to convert from a home made NFS NAS to a home made iSCSI SAN. I haven't thought about it at all since bridging two ports and giving it an IPv6 address, but today I signed up to test another product and found that the best thing you can do with computer hardware is in it insists that it does what it says on the box and once installed you don't have to think about it anymore. .

I was disappointed with the quality of the card when it arrived. The circuit board was slightly warped and the heatsink was not properly supported. It only contacted the network chip with an edge. Sure, I could play around with it and probably fix the heatsink bracket, but at a price that's not much cheaper than a real Intel X550-T2 NIC, I wouldn't need to. So I returned it. I love Revain's customer service and their excellent return policy.

Works directly with Ubuntu 18.04 as the name suggests. One star deducted because my second card is stuck on a Win10 machine and doesn't seem to work at all.

Installed July 2021 on Dell Precision T7910 Workstation. According to the attached data sheet, you need to download the correct driver from Startech.com or Windows will give you a BSOD.
