Has worked great for 7 years.

I bought a pair of these in 2014 to connect my rooftop WiFi hotspot to the rest of the network because it means there isn't a direct copper connection between things that could be struck by lightning , and my office. They still work great.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Compatibility

Required fiber to connect to network 10/100

Started shopping and found several different brands that were at least double the price. I decided to try these. Inserting a fiber optic cable is tricky, but once it's in, it stays! They were so cheap that I bought additional ones as spares. I've been using it for about 6 months, the patency is excellent. The spare wheel is still in the box!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Protection

I love these network transceivers

I've already forgotten how many I've bought, they work great, have 6 lights to help with troubleshooting/connections, light weight, work well in higher temperatures and below. I will continue to buy as needed.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Drives me crazy

Fiber to Ethernet Converter works great

These multimode fiber to ethernet transceivers are a very cost effective way to extend your network beyond the limits of traditional ethernet. We have two 500ft fibers that we use with them. The units are in a hostile environment and are holding up very well.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

They work.: Network transceivers

I bought two of these two to replace old transceivers that have failed. I've used them to connect multiple buildings together with fiber optic cables. Good price, good quality, fast delivery. They just work. What else could you ask?

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Only available in black
