I work from home. compatible with USB hubs

Love it. The lesson learned is that when you buy a new laptop, you either have to look it up or ask questions. Work from home and work better when you can connect directly to your router.

NO GOOD USB Hubs: Computer Accessories & Peripherals

Not very reliable. Constantly disconnects from laptop and freezes your work. Also affects your audio and media players. It's useless.

Perfect fit for MacBook Air

I use this with a 2015 MacBook Air that I bought after my 2012 MBPro retina was destroyed in an accident (which cost me thousands of dollars in damage and expensive surgery on my right shoulder). This works great as I need to use FireWire, Thunderbolt and Ethernet drives at the same time. Enough power can be passed through to use Ethernet (Apple recognizes it immediately) along with a 1TB SATA/USB 3.0 SSD and a mouse, giving me everything (expansion, storage and network, plus connectivity to…
