I have very old devices that need special connections to work and this part helped me with that. This is exactly what I was looking for.

There was an issue where the old Dell switch was close to the wall and there was no space to connect the serial cable. Later that day I came up with the idea of a 90 degree serial port. To the genius who came up with this, THANK YOU! Worked beautifully and I can set up the switch with no problems.

Star Tech's 90 degree serial adapter was perfect for our project. They seemed to be well made. We use them to interact with servo controllers in some of our aircraft tracking systems. You haven't failed yet. When connecting to the device, make sure that the plug and socket are correctly connected, otherwise the connection cable etc. cannot be seated correctly.

Didn't know they make this unit. Fixed problem with my 19" rack. Good quality and small size. You can change the direction of the plugs, great.
