G-sync worked - no cables included

I have a 1440P monitor with G-sync. This product supports G Sync with my setup. It is not rated by Nvidia so your mileage may vary. I was able to get the full resolution and FPS on my PC and M1 Mac mini. It doesn't come with cables, so make sure you use good quality cables and make sure they're as good as they can be for high frame rates. Input and output lengths add up, so 6ft t2 cable means you have 12ft and can run into artifacts at high frame rates.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Repair

Works great: Computer and accessories

My wife recently switched to an ultra wide monitor and we needed a new KVM so she could switch from home PC to work laptop. We were able to get it up and running very quickly. The lack of pre-wired cables like their previous one worked great as we had to switch from DisplayPort to HDMI. The key switch works reliably, the beep doesn't bother at all. The image quality is indistinguishable from a direct connection. We plugged a small USB-2 hub into the port and sharing her headset and webcam works

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Vulgarity

G-sync doesn't work with external components

I only have 2 problems with this device: 1. G-sync doesn't work with the device. I can connect my computer directly to the monitor and G-sync works fine. As soon as I connect it to KVM, G-Sync is disabled. I'll try a higher quality cable just to see if KVM is the limiting factor here.2. No cables. I realize that in a professional setting, there is a chance that cables will already be provided and that IT professionals installing this equipment may have unique needs that this equipment may not…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Modern

Works great with my 34 " G-SYNC Ultra Wide Gaming Monitor

For years I've been looking for a KVM switch that supports gaming on my G-SYNC Ultra Wide Monitor. Everything I've tried before , had issues and none of them could work with a G-SYNC monitor at 3440x1440@100Hz. Guess what? This StarTech KVM switch works! I'm shocked and I love it! Here is the hardware that I am using: β€’ Computer 1: Apple 16" MacBook Pro connected to a CalDigit Thunderbolt 3 dock. A DisplayPort 1.2 cable runs from the dock to the StarTech KVM. β€’ Computer 2: Digital Storm Windows

Pros
  • Rugged build
Cons
  • Not bad

I like this KVM good for external components

So first of all I've been using a cheap KVM for years (I use a Mac for most things but I need a monster PC for gaming and I don't attract myself don't need separate monitors for each machine) but I recently bought a new monitor and was really tired of switching KVM, monitor and audio separately. Finally tired of this after 6 years of teaching. When I found a KVM that fit my needs I got a big shock but what the heck I really need a solution and I won't be going to just Mac or PC any time soon so

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • negative impression
