The part was delivered quickly and I installed it on a 1982 Honda Goldwing GL1100 Interstate with no problems. Outwardly, it differs from the original, but it copes with its task perfectly.

I only bought this starter a year ago. I didn't ride my 1982 Gl100 at all this year. Now the starter doesn't work anymore. Today I removed the starter and found a defect in the block that prevents the block from turning. Not impressed.

It's only been 2 months and the starter stopped working at first, it made a strange noise like it was turning but it didn't jump out to get around that Starting the bike and now it's weak, doesn't spin. as suggested and yes i have a brand new battery and it only has a 30 day warranty. Dali was sent a completely different starter. Pretty sure it's a marine starter. It doesn't look like the picture and doesn't have the same type of connectors or anything. I am very unsatisfied with the result and I hope that the second time I will get what I ordered. This was the last part of the surprise I made for my dad whose bike was before.

Easy installation, nothing new to me. As I barely tightened the jam nut on the side post of the starter the entire side post just came out so darn easy and is now open and the starter is a waste of money, terrible quality, very disappointing. I was hoping my 83 gl1100 cafe racer would work but now I have to wait to buy another starter elsewhere. Right now, like a slacker, haha. 😕😤

There is nothing "new" about this starter except the color. Eventually he got around to installing it, he worked about 15 starts and gave up. Disassembled, but there are almost no brushes, inside the carbon deposits from the brushes and the coils are rusty. Absolutely angry. I tried cleaning the inside and lightly sanding the lump. Now it turns, but without load, alone in the engine. Avoid this at all costs.
