Only reason I give two stars is that it was extremely windy when we were out but the product was a embarrassment and a waste. Set up is easy but every time a gust we come along it would slide the canopy off the poles. After about 30 minutes we gave up from constantly fiddling with it and decided it was junk. I’m sure others on the beach found this amusing

The design on the product is great, the material just needs some work. When the product arrived, there was a tear in the corner of the beach tent. As you need to stretch this tent to get it to work, any tear in the fabric is a big weakness. Furthermore, the bag it came in tore at the seem after the first time we used it.Even with the tear, the product was still usuable and we had a nice day at the beach.

We purchased this for our beach vacation. When we got to the beach, one of the seams that holds the sand in place was not sewn together. We were still able to make it work but when we got back, we returned it for another. Once we received the second, it has the same problem, bad seam stitching and it will not hold sand. So quality is lacking. Rather than return, we inspected it all and found this was the only problem. Since we have a sewing machine, we decided to fix this rather than spend more

Many people on the beach asked where they could get one. Much safer than umbrellas on a windy day and very easy to set up and take down. Lightweight also.

I would have given this five stars, but one of the poles I received was broken. The rope that holds the pieces together is broke inside the pole. I did not discover this until I was already at the beach! I used this at the outer banks in NC. It was very easy to put together and with stood the winds on the beach. We filled the bags with sand and then coveref the sand bags with a big mound of sand to make it more secure.

Likes: portable, can take anywhere, easy setup, looks great, durable.Dislikes: none yet, a bit expensive for what it is.

Great lightweight beach umbrella substitute. Have had numerous questions from passers by how as to how we like it and always give it rave reviews.

Great shade for half the price of others. I recommend buying two additional poles. It will give a lot you a lot larger coverage area. Fill the bags as much as possible. They will not move.

Great tent. Very easy to set up. So light! Doesn’t take much room in the trunk. We are family of 5 and it is a perfect size, not too big and not too small. Very nice fabric.

Very easy to set up, great shade, easy to move to follow the sun, did great in 15mph winds! You won’t be disappointed! That's my feedback.

A little tricky to put up the first time but once we figured out the the more sand in the bags the better, it was perfect for our needs. Travels easily so light and compact a child could carry it.

Returned this item. Instructions for assembling were terrible and it looked like there were tears in the fabric. Packaging was terrible. It was just balled up like a return that got resold.

Just spent 3 days at the beach with this shade. Setup was easy. I would suggest getting a bigger sand shovel to put in the bag to speed things up. It help up well to strong coastal breezes that the umbrellas on the beach were struggling with. Just make sure you really fill the sandbags if the wind is strong. I have a half dome shelter with tent poles. I like this one a lot more.

Absolutely loved it, it’s easy to set up, easy to take down, and I combined it with another ten like it making it even bigger (we had 2 full families under them.

In all fairness, I did use this on a pretty windy and not too crowded day at the beach. It did work out very well, considering. This was my very first time using it so not sure if it is 100% set up properly, but it did block the sun and stayed still, even when I walked away.
