After reading the size chart and reviews for this dress, it seemed like it was running small. We ended up ordering a large for my normally "small-to-medium” 5’5” 130lb teenage daughter, but what arrived fit more like a true large. Definitely size up on this dress unless you are looking for a body con fit. I I generally wear a medium and I ordered a large but it still fit very close to my body. Maybe 2 sizes up would be best? I ordered this in my usual size medium and it was just a bit too tight. So I exchanged for a large and it's great. The sleeves are super cute and long enough for my 5'10" self. The cut is very flattering and the fabric is stretchy and softer and thicker than I expected. It has a little raised pattern to it. I'm going to dress it up with some pretty jewelry and wear it to church on Christmas.

The cut is flattering, and it's thin for a sweater dress. It's modest and covers well, but it does show curves. You need to wear nude-colored underwear, you can totally see black or dark-colored underwear through it. Since the fabric is thinner, the bottom of the skirt flows when moving and walking. It washed and dried in the machine without any issues or shrinking, and didn't see any loose threads.
