Plastic taste in the water.

I ran warm water, dawn dish soap and multiple days worth of soaking in the sun. Water flush after water flush through this trying to get that plastic taste out. Thought I had and took it camping. Water sat in it overnight ONE NIGHT. Daytime highs were less than 50 deg F and that bag tasted like it was straight from a hose. Only reason it's not getting 1 star & returned is my buddy used his to bring an adult beverage so I'm hoping I can use it for something with a strong flavor. Never water…

Pros
  • Lightweight and convenient to carry
Cons
  • Can be difficult to get all the water out when cleaning

Light, robust, capacious… and odorous

Seems robust: filled with water, I can drop from waist height onto hard ground and no sign of damage. It packs small and holds a lot of water. However wherever it’s made off gives a plastics taste and smell. It won’t wash out.I recommend this as a backup for a long distance hike when there w will be intervals without water sources, or for other occasional use. Not for regular hikes. Unless there’s some way to eliminate the smell.

Pros
  • Helps you stay hydrated on-the-go
Cons
  • May not be as durable as traditional water bottles

I really like this water bladder.

I ordered a grey, 2 liter bag. I received a blue 3 liter bag. It's not that big of a deal. The product itself seems to be very durable. There is no sign of leakage and the cap does not have an O-ring that could potentially wear out. I'm pretty impressed. I really wish Sawyer had bags like this.

Pros
  • Environmentally friendly option for water storage
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who drink large amounts of water regularly

Loved it so I bought another

I bought the 4l and I loved it so much, I had to have a 2l. These things are sturdy. They collapse to fit inside the provided case and are light for camping trips. I use the 2l to carry with me when I’m walking my dog. I carabiner the pouch to my Fanny pack with the 2 sections on either side of the handle, it has essentially 3 sections to clip to. When it’s empty, it fits in to my Fanny pack with ease. The cap strap ensures you don’t lose the cap and the 360 rotation of the strap on the lid…

Pros
  • Perfect for camping, hiking, or other outdoor activities
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with grip or mobility issues
