This jacket quickly soaks with water. It has practically zero water repelling properties and has very very little insulation. Additionally the winds passes through it pretty easily too. I wanted a decent water barrier but this isn't water resistant at all. I missed the return date bc I honestly forget I bought it after putting it away after the first time I got drenched from a light drizzle. Nice came pattern gives it a 2 star but that's questionable it's function as a weather barrier is trash.

I bought this jacket for my son’s Christmas present who ias 5’9 and 14 years old. HE LOVES IT. Very good for hunting in cold weather and the material is great. There is lots of good pocket choices in the jacket. I was on the fence between this jacket and one from another manufacturer, however, he is thrilled with this. Definitely made the right choice.

Overall it’s a good jacket, I’m just disappointed with the packable hood because I think that the hood is way too large and when it’s stored in the collar the collar is comically stiff and uncomfortable. I also removed all of the zipper strings because they’re just not needed.The coyote brown color is actuate!

Really great jacket! Very comfortable! Will be ordering 2 more! I absolutely loved my Army issue Gortex jacket and honestly this one is as good, or even better!Highly recommended!
