Love it! - Life jackets and vests

I like this vest for my daughter. It's not as bulky as other vests we've tried, so she doesn't mind leaving it on the beach while she plays in the sand. Durable and comfortable. The only downside for my daughter was that the strap got in the way between her legs so we just clipped it to her waist.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good looking never used 5 years old said too tight

My skinny 5 year old son found this vest too tight when wearing it so was uncomfortable we never got him in the water to get him back . It weighs about 40 pounds, maybe it would be ok for a small child? It looks good, but he really felt like it was too tight for him.

Pros
  • Nice to wear
Cons
  • Big and bulky

The belt caused my daughter a lot of pain.

The life jacket itself is good but after a day in the pool the strap that goes between the legs rubbed a very sore spot on my daughter's thigh. It's off-centre and off-centre, so it rubs against her legs. I'm keeping the life jacket as it works without a harness, but I removed that part.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not for kids with bulky tops

I love this vest but I would say if your child has broad shoulders/chest they might not weigh more than 40 pounds or so. My son is 42 pounds and has a very thin waist but a barrel chest. It's stuck at the front (under the clips) and we can't close it anymore. So while it might be rated at £50, your £50 might not fit in. The rest is awesome!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not an assault rifle

Fast shipping and great product. It worked fine for my two boys

Fast delivery and great product. It has worked well for my two boys aged 3 and 5. They liked wearing the vests and didn't complain about the discomfort. Neoprene is much nicer than the cheap bright orange ones that feel like nylon/plastic. This vest will not automatically throw your child's face out of the water, so be aware of that. I would highly recommend and will buy again in the future.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • No work

Nothing for small children.

Fits very snug and my son is only 32 pounds! The zip part worries me that it might not fit until it weighs 50lbs as advertised. Even if your child can't swim and turn around, DO NOT RECEIVE THIS VEST! I couldn't let go of my son because he automatically sank face first into the water. I'll buy a puddle vest to wrap around his arms and chest. Heard good reviews about this vest for kids learning to swim.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Available in white only

Fits Our 1 Year Old!: Boating

Our 15 month old girl weighs 31 pounds (99th percentile for height and weight) and is a good fit for her with growth potential! She also seems quite comfortable in it (for a toddler in a life jacket) and it doesn't take too long for her to move. It should last a while, but I doubt it's up to 50lbs - it seems less. Our 4 year old son is 45lbs and is too small for him - fits much smaller than his life jacket which also starts at 30lbs.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Fits

Great life jackets!

Bought this item for 3.5 and 5.5 year old girls. I was concerned about the fit after reading some reviews that they run small but fit both children perfectly. We got the jackets for a few days boating on the lake and the kids stay in them all day with no complaints! They are light and comfortable, unlike the life jackets I wore as a kid. My 5 year old is a good swimmer and my 3 year old is not swimming alone yet but is comfortable in the water and both children are great swimmers in these…

Ideal for swimming and boating.

I have done a lot of research on children's life jackets. Concerned about them looking down and not being able to roll onto their backs etc. So glad I chose them for my 4 and 6 year olds. Extremely comfortable and quick drying. They are both lean, around 30/35 pounds, with room to grow. Two years have passed. The children are now 6 and 8 years old. These life jackets are still in force. They still look like new. You can throw them in the washing machine. Let them air dry. My 8 year old child…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
