Works as advertised, drilled through both brick and concrete - there was river rock in the concrete and it drilled through with no problems and would recommend this product .

I don't know why but I bought this bit as a backup. The first time I used it it broke off right at the top. It looked like part of the shell was just glued to the top. It broke at the first rebar it encountered and it was just regular rebar, nothing special. I still have the parts in case the seller wants to appraise them.

Great work. I used it to drill five holes in the basement for the bathroom. I have a Milwaukee right angle cord drill that I used for heavy duty use. I wanted to drill at my own pace rather than renting a rig and drill bit and returning them 24 hours later if I had a problem. I had to assemble an adapter to convert the hex head to a 1/2" drive bit. I bought a Menards 1-5/8" socket and a 1" to 3/4" adapter to convert it to a 1 /2" chuck. About $15 for additional services. Looks a little wobbly…
