These wheels look pretty sturdy, I like the way the housing covers the bearings. It will be very difficult to get anything into the roller bearings. The only thing that stopped me from giving this a 5 rating was that there were no specs for the threaded shank size. I assumed it was a 3/8 shaft and had the ends welded to my table legs as such, only to get the wheels and found they were 7/16 threads or could be metric. I bought four of these casters to move the drill cabinet. Light load for these roles. The cabinet has chrome plated tubular steel legs for which I machined aluminum dowels that fit into the legs, D&T'ed for M12-1.75 x 28mm studs on casters. Every wheel in the garage, it rolls over concrete joints or cracks, hoses, cables, etc. The size of the wheel is important, especially with heavy loads, in order to minimize rolling resistance, so size matters!
