If you have a Mini Cooper F56 this tool is a must have if you plan or plan to change a tire. Unlike most cars, the Mini has lubricated bolts, not nuts. So resetting the tire can be a real hassle without this suspension. It's definitely worth the price. This is a well made quality product.

I was skeptical about the reviews I read before. When I first used it on a Mercedes Benz I couldn't even screw them in to hold the steering wheel. When I removed the wheel it went into the threads fine, but the other end didn't fit into the lugs! Another thing to consider is that they are only about 4 inches long and are made of aluminum.

Although they are aluminum they work great and don't scratch when the wheel slides over them. Very useful when mounting wheels on a BMW as there are no bolts. I made a bag for them to keep in my tool bag. Because I ride a lot on the track, I'm constantly changing tires, draining the brakes, etc., so I've put quite a few miles on it in a short amount of time.

Shit! How did I live without her. Before I received them I was so angry that I returned the tires to my 2013 A4. Tire mounting is much easier with these wheel suspensions. The only thing I would like is for the end of the bar to be beveled so you don't have to place the hoop in *exactly* the right place. The diameter is pretty much the same as the lug diameter, so fitting wheels can be an issue.

At first glance it looks and feels good. Two problems on first use: 1) the threads weren't perfectly clean, I had to clean it myself very carefully 2) when I screwed it on I couldn't completely remove the wheel from the hanger because the lug hole was too small to tighten it. Grab material at the end of the hanger - WHY. They were completely useless and I cannot use the product. Wouldn't buy again.

I bought this in the summer and only used it to change my BMW wheels. Colouring, metal quality, knurling depth - these are all excellent properties. Needless to say, these tools are essential in your kit to change the wheels on your Bimmer. This is both my first BMW and my first suspension tool, it made changing a wheel super easy. Even without this tool, you would have to put a lot of effort and creativity into a very simple maintenance task. Great Stillman product. Many Thanks.

Not worth $18. They're only 4.0 inches long (too short to be really useful). If you screw them (hard by hand) into the brake discs and then put the tire and wheel on the hangers, they're difficult to unscrew without pliers because the flat part of the hanger is too close to the rim and a regular sized wrench can do the Almost scratch the rim. tighten tight. They should be 2 inches longer and have at least another 1/2 inch thread. Go ahead and keep looking for the best option.

They are fine after I modified them. Before that I could only catch one, maybe two strands before the body hit the rotor. In other words, the major diameter would not fit the hole in the rotor. Instead, it hit the front of the rotor. I have a 2005 BMW 330 by the way. I figured I could live with that by hand tightening them as much as possible. After hanging my fourth bike, I found thread damage on one of the hangers. Manual tightening did not help. I have a lathe so I reduced the first 1/8" of…
