HUG WORKS! for binoculars

LARGE field of view. Long lasting, at least for now. Incredible clarity. Definitely nothing for ultralight lovers. Very big and heavy. Not that it was a fall. I use them from my pickup every day for work.

Pros
  • rain and fog protection; wide field of view
Cons
  • Fits

No focus setting, next focal length too long.

These goggles have a focus distance of 50 to 60 yards. Everything at that distance is blurry. Once you pass this area, everything becomes crystal clear. My problem is that I like bird watching, sometimes they are only 5 meters away from me.

Pros
  • Large depth of field, ideal for finding prey
Cons
  • Some bugs

I bought these because I've used them extensively during my time.

Bought because I used it a lot in the military. Continuous. My marines beat them to hell and they never broke. They lost their straps and cases, but they were always usable when we were cleaning sand from the lens.

Pros
  • Rugged rubber-reinforced housing; long eye relief 17mm
Cons
  • Doubtful

Very good binoculars.

The next level should be better and heavier! It was painful to put the neck strap on the binoculars. The binoculars were heavier than the 10x Swirl binoculars but had a longer range and a very clear image. Very good binoculars. I had Bushnell and Leopold 10 binoculars. The Steiner is better quality but much heavier.

Pros
  • rubber reinforced coating
Cons
  • unreliable
