Very wide for a medium width

Although these DO run "true to size" length wise, and you absolutely should order your true shoe size, be aware that if you have an average width foot, these WILL be too wide for you. And, there is no way to adjust these, as they do not have the tie adjustment. I knew there was no tie when purchasing them, but have never had a ballet shoe be too wide when the width is stated as "average" or "B-width". So, just as a buyer be aware.

Pros
  • These are comfortable!
Cons
  • Too stretchy, unable to provide support

I use these for exercise. I do a lot of barre work and floor work with pilates and similar exercises. I wanted something that would help my feet feel more stable than wearing socks and more supported than being barefoot, but also have generous flexibility for certain stretches. I had a similar pair of these years ago when I practiced ballet and hoped these would be the same. They are. For my purpose, they're perfect and exactly what I wanted. They also fit great and feel comfortable all the way

Pros
  • I like the shoes
Cons
  • Painted soles constantly peel and leave residue on floors

Tall leather soles, but stretchy fit

I had to order a full size below what I usually get and it's still a bit big. That being said these are really comfy and stretchy. So those of us with wide feet can go on releve without our toes being squished. The leather soles seem tall, so you don't really feel the ground much. Good for money.

Pros
  • The split sole design provides increased flexibility in the arch and allows for a smoother movement along the floor
Cons
  • Quickly lose their shape and structure after a few uses

Slightly big, but I will make do.

I saw comments about how wide these shoes were, which I was excited about. I have wider feet, so I thought these would fit great. I got the 9 because mostly it said to get the same as street shoe. Honestly it is about a 1/2 size too big! A good ballet shoe fit should be almost like a second skin. These would actually fit better if they had the lace around the top to tighten them. Another note: the pink is just a bit bright. Not a huge deal. I am using these for an adult dance class with no…

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • Not suitable for dancers with large feet

Construction is close to capezio's juilet canvas

I wanted to go with something a bit cheaper than Capezio's Juliet canvas ballet flats. I have been buying them for years now. I found these while searching and the reviews seemed promising. The Juliet runs small (it's expected in the ballet world) but my toes always end up poking through eventually. These flats are great construction so far and haven't failed me. The outsole is a bit thicker than the Juilet by Capezio. The vamp has way more wiggle room for the top of your foot.almost too much…

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Right and left shoes not correctly distinguished, causing confusion

Disappointed to receive a return that wasn’t inspected.

I was disappointed that the product arrived with dirt marks on the toes. They do not necessarily look worn, but like a return that wasn’t inspected. Also, a random tag for another product was in the bag for the ballet slippers. My daughter hasn’t tried them out yet to know if they are comfortable.

Pros
  • Ballet & Dance
Cons
  • Not suitable for dancers who prefer a tighter fit

Love them! on my review.

These are very comfortable and very well made. I am actually using them as house slippers. They are true to size. I am a size 9 - 9 1/2 shoe size - I bought a 9 1/2. I am very pleased with this purchase and have the black pair (I bought the pink) sitting in my cart as I write this.

Pros
  • My daughter loved these. Exact fit and well made.
Cons
  • Not suitable for dancers with high arches

Ballet shoes needed ASAP

My daughter needed new ballet shoes for a nutcracker performance. I didn’t have time to go to ballet store. I ordered these and they worked great for that purposeThey do fit bigger than I expected (I immediately washed in hot water and they shrunk a litte). I would say they are "wide” for the size. These are bright pink instead of a soft pink that we otherwise expecting.

Pros
  • Perfect for high school dance class!
Cons
  • Difficult to break in, takes a long time to fit comfortably

love these good for me

I have a lot of barre and kettlebell workout DVDs where the participants don't wear shoes but I do not like exercising barefoot.these fit perfectly and feel great. They also seem to help when I need to balance on one leg.

Pros
  • The Stelle Stretch Canvas Ballet Shoes are lightweight and flexible, allowing for greater agility and precision during performances
Cons
  • Lack of padding in heel area, creating discomfort and blisters

I bought my normal shoe size and they are a bit too big.

I have yet to put this shoe to use, but I can say that they must run a half size bigger than normal. I’m going to use them still but maybe go half a size down.

Pros
  • December 18, 2020
Cons
  • Shoddy construction, quickly comes apart at seams
