🔧 Black Stens 056 154 Float Valve Review

Item is listed as Stens in the description but the package supplied is a TecumsehPower OEM product. Worked great with the original Tecumseh carburetor on my MTD 21" 4hp lawn mower.

Do not use a Chinese replacement for your carburetor, otherwise the float valve will leak. This is the real deal, so buy it and save yourself the headache. Used it on a very old Craftsman 3.5hp vertical shaft vacuum. He did his job, because before the repair, fuel was poured and flowed out of the exhaust pipe.

I have 20 years old MTD snowblower with Tecumseh engine. He had a chronic sticky carburetor jet problem and the solution was to remove the float bowl and clean the jet with a straw. But after that, a few years later, the float bowl seal started leaking gas unless I tipped it and drained the last few drops. I didn't want gas fumes in the garage.
