Excellent Quality: Electric Motors

Packaging was excellent, included a small card with all the important dimensions you need to make the support/mounting system. I've ordered a lot of stepper motors from Amazon, these are the biggest and best of them.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

These are absolutely amazing engines

If you are looking for an engine of this type and size then this is what you need. I use them on a DIY CNC plasma and they are just beasts. More than enough power for my needs. I'd rather have more and be able to call it back than not have enough.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Good performance for size

These are the stepper motors I use in most automation projects. Good torque for this size. Make sure the driver is tall enough. A 2 amp driver will not help. The mounting holes are blank to allow a screw to pass through, but are the ideal diameter for a 1/4-20 faucet if you need to install it. I've used them both ways with no problems.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
