I can now mute my TV, plug this headset adapter into the controller, plug noise-cancelling headphones into the adapter, and control the volume from there. The only downside I've found so far is that adding headphones drains my controller's battery a bit faster. Otherwise the facility is perfect!

This adapter allows you to easily customize your sound as advertised by the seller. The keys are comfortable and have a good matte surface. It also comes with a micro USB cable that can be used for Xbox One controllers. and Android phones. At this price this is a REALLY GOOD DEAL! I expected this, although shipping was fast it's unfair when the product itself doesn't work and items like the 6ft cable are missing. Very dissatisfied and I tried it with 3 different controllers and 2 good headsets. It's either hit or miss. Buy here if you want to play Russian Roulette for money and time. Just know there are 5 bullets instead of 1 if you know what I mean.

i have mixed feelings about this one and the others i've bought. it does what it's supposed to and is easy to use. it's about how crazy you have to be to use something like that in the first place. and $30 for electronics and plastic worth about 0.50 cents is a street robbery, but you'll be forced at gunpoint to buy one of these if you have an Xbox and want to chat and don't have a $300 A50.

I had this product and for a day it didn't work properly but it also damaged the connectors on my controller. I bought a new controller and suddenly the same problems occur! It worked for audio, but the mic never worked, or when it worked, all my players heard was the loud noise of a levitating scorer. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it and I don't write reviews either, but I felt the need after the three controllers were touched.

I bought this for my kids Xbox controller and headset. The Xbox controller headphone jack is broken so the microphone doesn't always work. This seems to have basically solved the problem. One of the remote controls, which worked unstably with a headset connected to the standard connector, does not work at all with this adapter. This headset adapter can do so much and easily. Microsoft makes their adapter difficult to get and it's very poorly made. Personally, I've had two of their stereo headset adapters fail in the last four years (their support is rubbish and I can't replace them).
