Great pitcher at a great price.

I just received it and I really like it. The lid is secure so you can twist it a little once the drink has settled a bit. The nose design is great too. It pours accurately every time. The only thing that can be improved is the grip. When the pot is full, the handle feels a little loose and bends a little. Time will tell if it will hold or break.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Long wait

The only 1 gallon jug I can endorse.

I've tried a total of three 1 gallon jugs recently and this is the only one that doesn't seriously leak after shaking. Others I've tried: Sterilite Corp. 04900012 Ultra Seal 1 Gallon Pitcher [Leaked] Rubbermaid Mixermate [Leaked] This product would be even more secure if it were screwed on, but it's just a snap cap with a better designed pull tab.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • unreliable

Surprisingly very tight.

Have had these for a long time and am pleased with how well the lids stay in place and don't leak. They snap tightly but you have to make sure you open the spout to let the air out or the lid won't snap fully into place due to the pressure. I thought they would start leaking after a few uses but so far after 4+ months of continuous use they haven't leaked at all.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Expensive

Good durable jug

The jug itself is excellent but it arrived a little crumpled. It's hard to tell from the photos I've attached but there are a few small scratches and it was quite dirty despite having a "New" sticker on it. Also, I've filled it with water and it seems durable. It also has an airtight lid that gets the job done and a spout for pouring out liquids. Tip: Make sure you DISCONNECT the spout if you want the glass to close. If you don't, it will NOT close completely as air will be trapped.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Repair

Love this pitcher, suitable for crockery and serving

Got Bought this pitcher mainly to keep my water cold I recently installed a water filter in my kitchen so I can now drink water straight from the tap I just fill up a pitcher and keep it in the fridge to keep my water nice and cold I almost didn't buy because some reviews say it leaked and they also had issues with the top.Mine is fully sealed the upper is fine it's very strong not flimsy or flimsy at all.I have Issues with hand strength and had no trouble opening the spout or removing the lid…

Pros
  • Dimensions (with lid) 8-5/8" x 6-7/8" x 10-3/8" high
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Leakproof!: Kitchen & Dining

UPDATE: The lid is split at the top where the spout is. I suspect it's the outlet cap. While easy to open, it's fairly secure, requiring some pressure on the lid to open the spout. spout opening. Well, after about a year of use, the lid cracked. I hope that doesn't happen to my second one, but the pitcher costs pretty little ($7). So if I have to buy a new one every year, I don't think it's a big investment. You can see the breakdown in the attached pictures.*************************************…

Pros
  • 1 Gallon / 3.8 Liter; listed in quarts, liters and 1 gallon on top of base (clear container); Labels help mix drinks
Cons
  • Not sure

Good jug after smell gone

I have ordered several of these jugs and they smelled strongly of a strange plastic smell. gave them soda to soak and aired them out, which seemed to fix the problem, but after taking them out of the cupboard to use (kept with the lid on), the smell seemed to come back. I'm not sure what the smell is or why it's hard to get rid of, but eventually the smell went away. PROS: + large 1 gallon pitcher if you drink a lot of what you're making + has a cut out at the bottom that allows you to stack…

Pros
  • Polypropylene (PP) base, LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) lid
Cons
  • Only available in black
