I bought this partly because of the high reviews but apparently I wasn't so lucky. Lamp 1 lasted maybe 2 months with intermittent safety light. The malfunction is due to the filament touching the bulb and burning a hole in it, causing the light rim to smoke. Bulb 2 had a broken filament when I opened the box. Lamp 3 worked for about 5 seconds. Bulb 4 passed at least the 10 second test. .I put bulb 4 in because I need that light to work, but I will look for an alternative. If the bulb melts…

These bulbs are NOT the bulbs you need

pack of 10 bulbs, enough for 30 days; and only got so much from them because I didn't use the light every day. First, 60% of failures are bulbs that don't light up due to poor workmanship. Bulbs are deformed, not straight, do not fit in the lamp. Of the 4 lights that were lit, the longest usage time was 16 hours and the shortest was 3 hours. In addition, when the bulbs burn out, it gets dirty - the ceramic ends scatter into pieces, which you need to clean from the lamp and the work area.

I like them so far. I don't find the light to be as "bright white" as other bulbs I've used, but barely noticeable. They seem to last as long as other more expensive lights I've used. I recently had two other lightbulbs that cost about three times as much as the first one I'm currently using. It's worth the price of a lightbulb for that alone. I hope the other nine will do the same as the first. I've used many different brands and ALL have the occasional bulb that burns out too quickly. And…

Nicely packaged lamps for 50 hours, good that there are so many of them.

It's good that there are so many of them that they don't last long. In my experience, their MTTF (Mean Time to Failure) is around 50 hours. 3/4 of the failures seem to be due to a typical Chinese lamp problem: the wire going through the sheath fails, leaving the sheath and filament intact, but no contact. This is because the 120V bulbs use twice the current as the 220V versions, but the factories use the same leadframe for all bulbs and only change the filament, and the leadframe cannot handle…
