Better "modernized " version

I had the "modernized" version but the faucet was in two pieces and kept falling apart. This one is sooo worth it! no leak no problem

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Weight

Choose another in Fuel Tanks & Accessories

Excellent smooth tank finish I received. Missing equipment. The faucet thread had to be recut due to paint deposits, the supplied faucet could not be screwed in. Spend a few bucks more and buy a different tank.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not sure

Almost useless in the fuel tanks and accessories category

No tank cap, no mounting hardware, nozzle completely broken off. One half is threaded, the other half just disappeared. One of the support legs is bent. Luckily I have everything. I only need it to hold the gas as my current one is leaking.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • OK

The tank is good, the rest sucks

The tank is of good quality but poorly packaged and had a dent. The tail is absolute junk and it broke when I was just hand tightening it. The nuts that came with it didn't even fit the tank mounts. I have different nuts and a new faucet so the tank is working fine now.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Broken parts. Missing Parts

Missing parts for assembling and securing the gas tank to the bike. The petcock fuel lever broke during installation in the gas tank threads. We need a new rooster. In addition, the lever rotates 360 degrees. Let's just rotate it 180. We need a new one. There is no o-ring for the peacock tip or other gear to prevent gas leaks. Deserves minus 2 stars.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Zero

INSTALL CAREFULLY good for fuel tanks and accessories

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NUTS. This will ensure it is positioned correctly and has play so the nuts don't come loose from the bolts. This is my second tank, the first I re-tightened without tape and the bolt popped out along with a poorly welded joint connecting the bolts to the bottom of the tank

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some bugs

Spare Parts Tap Valve

Cooling tank for your projects. I painted the tank to order. All was going well until it was time to turn on the faucet. When turning to the "tight" position, the valve cut off. Putting the time and effort into painting a tank is a terrifying feeling. I've been restoring bikes for many years, so I know what I'm doing. I contacted the seller for compensation and he offered me a 20% refund. It must be full credit or send me another tank.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Minor problems
