It takes time to master, but it's well worth it!

My workplace has a ping pong table and my coworkers and I have been playing for a solid year or two now. However the company paddles were in constant dis-array and always being destroyed. However, even with crappy paddles, I was able to develop my game quite a bit and control the ball well. However, I didn't always get to use "the good paddle", so I decided it was time to buy one of my own.I hopped onto Walmart and began doing research. For me, this consists of reading tens/hundreds of…

Not worth the money

I had this paddle for some time now and I played a lot with 2 paddles a dhs and this stiga one, the rubber is smooth after couple of weeks compared to a DHS rubber that still sticky. I would not recommend this paddle, especially at that price. this is barely better than any beginner paddle.Do not buy

Pros
  • Works great. Comfortable
Cons
  • The racket may not suit certain playing styles

Bad Value for Money

The paddle is OK. Have been using it for a week now. Good for beginners. However this paddle is not capable of generating spins unless heavy wrist flick is applied. This paddle should not cost more than $25. It is not worth the price. Also if you have pen-hold style, the handle is ok.However it is short for a shake hand grip.Overall, bad value for money.

Think twice before buying if kids will use it

The racket looked fine, the rubber is pretty nice to play with. Despite being a bit heavier than expected, it was nice to play with it, while it lasted. In the first week, while kids were playing the racket cracked and then they pulled it apart. The same kids play with Butterfly rackets that cost half of the price and so far they didn't break. So Stiga seems to be pretty fragile.

  • Rackets
Cons
  • The racket may not have a case or cover for storage and transportation

Good bat, with Learning Curve

This bat is great for driving and attacking play. This bat is for a skillful and advanced player. However, you may need to adjust your style of play to master this bat. The bounce or speed the ball generates off this bat is great for an attacking player. But, generating top spins with this bat requires a very good technique and requires a big learning curve, mainly due to the super bounce this bat generates. Suits a direct style of play and is great for slicing balls.

Pros
  • The racket has excellent balance and grip, providing a smooth and seamless playing experience
Cons
  • The rubber may not be suitable for players who prefer softer, more flexible rubbers

So far very nice in my review

Seen alot of counterfeit claims in the reviews. The one I received is the original brand. I have seen counterfeit products sold on amazon, this one was not however. Hopefully amazon resolves the issue where that is the case. I bought some Beats headphones via amazon, per Apple they were fake no existing serial number. Plus they were junk to add. Point being if fake I will give the honest heads up. In this case for me these were not. Hope this helps other in their decision making. Great…
