NOT HAPPY - does NOT work on OUTDOOR tables

I was VERY disappointed when we received our unit today. We have bought a new OUTDOOR STIGA table tennis table and were quite excited to order this automatic scoring unit. To my frustration, it does not fit the outboard metal table. NOWHERE in the write up for this product does it say it is only for the INDOOR particle board unit. Out board is set up on our patio, in a protected area -- and we have ordered a full cover to use when not playing.Very sad. Hopefully they will come up with a fix on…

Pros
  • You need a sp
Cons
  • Expensive compared to traditional scorekeeping methods

Doesn’t work - my new review

Straight up doesn’t work. My table is pretty thin and it didn’t pick up anything. The screws provided are too short and can damage thinner tables.

Pros
  • 2 Table Sensors and 1 Net Sensor Relay Detections to Score Display
Cons
  • Not compatible with all table tennis tables

Seriously, don't bother

Here's what I learned within 5 minutes of opening the box:1. The model I got, labeled "New", was manufactured over 6 years ago. Either it's secondhand or it's been rotting in a warehouse for the better part of a decade.2. The build quality is shockingly bad on every component. Cheap, poorly designed. The 4 (!) non-included AA batteries had to be forced in and out due to bad sizing.3. Like everyone says, the net really is too short. It did technically stretch to fit, but there was so much…

Pros
  • works great
Cons
  • Product came without a power cord! How the hell can you use it with no power??

Sensors missing for my opinion

Seems like it would've been really nice if only the cable sensors were included as indicated. Wow been shopping on Revain for years and can't help but to think maybe they should invest in quality control. This is just a huge disappointment.

Pros
  • accurate score keeper
Cons
  • Doesnt work

Close but not usable for full size table

What a disappointment. The best thing about this device turns out to be the Revain return policy. I have a Stiga Advantage Competition-Ready table from Revain. It's regulation size. Excellent table, I might mention. The SensorScore display attaches to one of two included net brackets. The net connects to the display on one end and the other bracket on the other. That's problem number one and kindof game-over: The net is not long enough to reach the two ends on a regulation width table. Since the

Pros
  • We love this automatic scorer! It really is great. It makes playing much more enjoyable!
Cons
  • Does not fit a standard size table. And now I’m outside the refund window so can’t even return it.

This gadget is amazingly accurate and the technology is craYz cool! It evan registers the light corner and edge plays. A must-have for hardcore players!. It's super fast and easy to set-up. This has changed my whole game! The only negative is that as I was installing the net (the last step, of ) I noticed the stitching is completely torn and separated at the bottom. The tear is not impeding the play or keeping score right now, but I'm concerned it could in the future, especially after the…

Pros
  • It elevates the overall gameplay experience, providing players with a more streamlined, convenient, and enjoyable playing environment
Cons
  • Champions and legends of the game managed without it, so what is the point?

Terrible with our table

Terrible with our table. The sensors attached under the table will not detect hits if table is too thick, leading to complete fail.Would have been nice if there was a fully manual override mode, which would allow the product to be used even if sensors are not sensitive enough to do their job. Unfortunately, manual scoring is not possible unless the system has first detected who's serving (which will often fail due by aforementioned issue).

Pros
  • ‎1.13 Kilograms
Cons
  • May require additional training for players and referees

Good for children who can't count yet

The fisher price of ping pong nets. Electronics worked well but came with the flimsiest of nets. Good for children who can't count yet.

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • May prioritize technology over skill or sportsmanship

If you like playing table tennis, you need to give it a try.

Works better than expected. A must buy. Everybody can't believe how accurate it is. It was very easy to install. If also cut's down on the cheating.

Pros
  • Bought for a friend; as far as I know it works great. Thank you.
Cons
  • Not a good product at all!

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does its job for my opinion

It's not perfect but better than I expected. Works for the most part but can get glitchy. Assembly takes some time, around a half hour with a friend. When it's all said and done, we needed a scoreboard and this fits the bill.

Pros
  • The SensorScore system allows for seamless transitions between games or matches, ensuring a smooth flow of gameplay
Cons
  • May require frequent firmware or software updates

Failed out of the box

Out of the box, the product failed to worked. It produced an error code that would not reset. The manufacturer provided no resolution; technician stated the product was just recently purchased from another company.

Pros
  • ‎Unisex-adult
Cons
  • Can be difficult to set up and install

I purchased a STIGA Advantage Competition-Ready Indoor Table Tennis Table and the STIGA SensorScore Automated Table Tennis Scoring System. However, the net that came with the STIGA SensorScore system is 6-8 inches too short to fit the STIGA table, thus rendering the STIGA SensorScore unusable with the STIGA table. How ironic!

Pros
  • ‎T1830
Cons
  • May distract players from their focus on the game

Updated. BUYER BEWARE DOES NOT FIT FULL SIZE 60 INCH REGULATION COMPETITION " STIGA" TABLE BY OVER 6 INCHES SHORT ! - 3 stars. SWEDISH STIGA SOLD RIGHTS TO CHINA - CHEAP QUALITY TOO I REALLY WOULD PAY $150 IF IT WAS REALLY DESIGNED AND MADE CORRECTLY? Nets are really as another stated "Fisher Price toy quality".-1.5 starsGreat CONCEPT.barely 1 Star rating.Notes:I was so excited to get our own Stiga table for our family this year; I'm a Swedish citizen whose played on Stiga for over 40 years…

Pros
  • It tracks individual scores as well as game and match scores, making it ideal for both casual and competitive players
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all types of balls

Very effective, but a narrow target audience

This is a very interesting gadget, though my opinions about it are mixed. First off, in our experience, it is remarkably accurate. It registers even the slightest table strikes - including glancing edge/corner strikes - and it keeps very accurate score. The accuracy of the net sensor is similarly good, though it might be a little less reliable in my experience (once, I think I struck a glancing blow across the top of the net, which it didn't register.either it or I was mistaken). All in all…

Pros
  • It eliminates the need for scorekeepers or referees, giving players peace of mind and full autonomy during matches
Cons
  • Players may become too reliant on the system rather than developing their own scoring skills

This changes the arguments to; Did the score box accurately record the point? When it is powered on you have 2 choices: 11 or 21 point 2 player game. The score box attaches to the side of the net and is big and clunky and very old school looking. The controller is male and speaks to you, it says: score, winner, switch serve, and net. What we liked is the LED number score blinks for who has the serve. There are 3 sensor intensity settings; it didn’t seem to make a difference. On average in one 21…

I can't believe this thing actually works

A device that automatically scores a ping-pong game? Wow, this brings up a lot of questions.Does it work?-Amazingly yes with about 95-99% accuracy. It feels like magic because it's hard to believe a device can actually keep track of ping pong ball bounces.-No problems with balls that hit the white line or even nick the table.-The unit is able to recognize the end of each point almost immediately after it happens. No tedious delays between points.-It handles let serves perfectly well. What will…

Cons

Not happy with this product at all

Not happy with this product at all. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Misses count, over counts, misses service, etc. It looks nice which is why I gave it two starts but this is a total waste of money!

Pros
  • The system is incredibly user-friendly, making it accessible to both seasoned and novice table tennis players
Cons
  • May malfunction if too crowded around the table

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This thing is creepy accurate

My ping pong partner and I were spooked out at first by how accurate this scorekeeper is. It's like there's a ghost standing next to your table keeping score for you. The device also has customizable settings to adjust how much downtime between volleys, or adjust the sensitivity of the vibration sensors. It's not perfect however, as it would (about twice each 21 point game) record points improperly, however ALWAYS with reason (a player bumps the table or we served before the scorekeeper was…

Pros
  • The STIGA SensorScore Table Tennis Scoring System makes keeping score effortless and accurate
Cons
  • May not be accessible for players with disabilities

Great Manual Scoreboard for Pongers

For the price I paid (about $30), it's a super deal. I bypassed the auto scoring sensors, using the manual override buttons. I mounted it to a nearby shelf in my garage rec room and it's perfect. Games are easily scored, no forgetting point count, and the "Winner" victory cheer at 11 or 21 points adds to the fun.

Pros
  • way to go
Cons
  • The score just stopped working

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well in my table

First I had to make some adjustments on the net post to fit my table. The sensors in the back of each side of the table were installed by drilling into the table as instructed. Them after realizing how the system works in terms of the delay it has between serves and the blinking of the scoreboard, it has worked really well for about 3 weeks.

Pros
  • ‎Table Tennis
Cons
  • May interrupt the flow or rhythm of a game
