Our door is heavy and while this stopper held it I had to push it in so hard that the seal was deformed. Unfortunately have to go back. But it will certainly work well for heavy doors without weather protection.

This is not a solid rubber block, but the side, top and inner supports are very thick and strong. It does not deform during use like traditional doorstops. If you need something more permanent, a solid wood wedge can be used as a doorstop.

This was the only doorstop that I felt worked well with the larger gaps between the bottom of my doors and the wooden floor. They're a bit big for home use, but they work for me and don't move when you put them on.

I ordered these doorstops for my son's college quad room. I was looking for something heavy and was willing to spend a little more than you would expect for regular doorstops. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived as they are bigger and stronger than I expected. If you need a heavy duty doorstop, they will fill that need!

We bought these to support our heavy auto closing doors here at my work place so people don't have to touch the doorknobs. The traditional doorstops that you have in your house are not strong enough to hold the doors. They work great and I've bought at least six of these to use in the building I work in. They are perfect for our needs.

It was such a disappointment I have a decent gap between the door and the floor I bought these to keep the door open and be safe. I put them on a tile floor, they slid slightly so I put a non slip rug underneath and tried again, they slid slightly!
