Choose this popcorn maker over cheaper aluminum pans. And it worked very well for the first few months. But as already mentioned, the drive mechanism is extremely fragile. I ordered two of these just over a year ago. We usually make popcorn several times a month, so the popcorn maker is rarely used. Each pot was enough for about 10-15 servings of popcorn when the stirring mechanism failed. I just emailed the company to see if they have updated the movement and will be replacing mine. I had the regular version of it but decided to upgrade. it was so nice Good heavy bottom, all parts and details looked high quality!
