Review on StovePop Stainless Popcorn VICTORIO VKP1160 by Blanca Spahn

Choose this popcorn maker over cheaper aluminum pans. And it worked very well for the first few months. But as already mentioned, the drive mechanism is extremely fragile. The flexible coil of spring and wire broke in half, and the wooden handle ripped right out of the handle when I started a new batch of popcorn (only kernels in the pot). I contacted the manufacturer to see if they would send a replacement movement. *Update (11/26/16) - Victorio's customer support is amazing. I wrote to them on Saturday. They replied on Monday and offered to send a new cable, which arrived a few days later with instructions on how to replace it. But as another reviewer mentioned, the set screw on the old stirrer was snapped off (perfectly round). Thus, it was not possible to loosen the screw with an Allen key to remove the cable. Contacted support again and they sent me a new stirrer. My popcorn machine is working again.
