💧 Reverse Osmosis Straight Connect Fittings Review

Bought these for the built in charcoal filter which didn't come with them. They cost less than one of the big stores. They also come with blue mounting clips.

Almost 50% of fittings leak even though hoses are cut and stripped straight. The only reason I give 2 stars is because some of them were sealed and they were very cheap. I highly recommend spending a few bucks more and finding genuine John Guest branded hardware.

Appears to be less than 1/4” NPT. I had to use a ridiculous amount of teflon tape (15+ wraps, lots of teflon tape) which also made it easier to cross the thread. Apparently the Chinese don't know about the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Go to Lowe's and buy American, you'll thank yourself later.
