This is a really good strainer and it has a very fine strainer that is hard to find! Captures the smallest tea particles! The design is a bit unusual but cute - it gives this colander an antique touch which I really like.

This is good quality, with a finer strainer than others I've had (one bought here and another bought in store) which works well for straining thinner Indian teas such as Society brand tea. The infuser is also quite large, which is good when I'm adding chunks of ginger to my tea. Might be too big for small tea cups but great for standard coffee cups.

Ideal for Indian masala tea with finely ground cardamom and black pepper, holds most of it. Had been through a few washes in the dishwasher, no rusting yet. I'll update the review in a few days if I see rust spots, which is a very common problem with filters that are made in India and sold at local grocery stores here in Michigan.

I was afraid this strainer would be wrinkled and ruined when I received it because it shipped with a half gallon of olive oil, but the strainer arrived more perfect Condition! It shows how strong and well made the thing is. The mesh is very stiff and thin, not thin at all. I like that the handle is part of the strainer and not spot welded like most others here at Revain to keep it from coming loose.
