Very useful for climbing

I first bought it to reinforce the metal rings on the corners of the sail-like curtains my wife put up to provide shade on the backyard BBQ. However, I plan to use them in other projects. I used a lighter flame to singe the cut ends to keep them from tangling. her to attach the rings, but used a thin soldering iron to burn holes in the strap and sail material to insert rivets with flat washers to attach the rings.

Pros
  • Rope, twine and webbing

Amazing product and price

I love this roll of Strapworks lightweight polypropylene strap. I cut off 36 inch lengths and sewed the raw ends (on a standard sewing machine) to make a whole bunch of sail trusses for my boat - more than I actually need. What fantastic value for money - I have half a roll left! Being up and running in an hour will save you a ton of money buying ready made puffs for your mainsail. I no longer need sail sleepers. In the meantime, consider me a satisfied customer.

Useful webbing from good company

Good quality webbing, light weight, water and weather resistant and quite strong. Nylon and polyester webbing are stronger, but a 1-inch polypropylene webbing has a breaking strength of about 600 pounds, which is good enough for many light to moderate loads, especially if you're using plastic buckles and clasps, which fail at much lower loads. Strapworks seems to be a good company, responsive to customer needs and offering a wide range of products at competitive prices. I don't work for them…

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • Easy to repair
