I ordered this for my nephew's 9th birthday along with a car drawing tutorial. I'm having a hard time imagining the dimensions, so I was hoping the 12x12 would be big enough to be better than a typical laptop, but not huge. I didn't read carefully enough to see it was only 30 pages but for the price and for a child it was good enough. The paper is nice to the touch and my nephew really thought it was something like "a real artist notebook". :)

I bought one of these a long time ago and I really liked the tooth of the paper. It's geared more toward kids, but I was in a store with a very limited art department, so I thought I'd give it a try.
