Nice texture - easy to blend.

A good watercolor notebook for beginners. I like the size and number of leaves. What I didn't like was that when washing (with lots of water) the paper falls apart and crumbles. It's good for hitting.

Pros
  • Art and painting supplies
Cons
  • Doubt

Quality Paper

I've been drawing and painting with Strathmore Color 440 for more years than I'd like to admit. I keep a daily diary with sketches and watercolors. It's fun to keep a diary that will last much longer than my stay in this wonderful country. My sons swear they'll never get rid of them while I'm gone.

Pros
  • Watercolor Paper
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

I LOVE this watercolor paper

I LOVE this watercolor paper! This is my main document when I'm working on custom painting for clients. It is reliable and always professional in high quality without a big expense. You can easily peel the paint off the paper when needed, and it has significant weight to avoid the paper from curling and bumping when wet. I recently used an artistic masking fluid to keep parts of the paper white and had no trouble wiping it off the surface of the paper leaving the paper untouched. Highly…

Pros
  • Crafts, Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
