Holds all media: art paper

I use them for acrylic paints, markers and colored pencils. Nice durable paper. But you can just buy a big pillow and cut it into 6 inch pieces. This article by Strathmore is the best in my opinion.

Pros
  • complete set
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great for markers Good for fine art paper

I regularly use 6x6 and 4x4 tiles to work with markers. The size is handy for those who like to work smaller but don't have the patience to cut paper, which I did years ago. The paper is smooth and thick enough to withstand heavy saturation. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Small Design Paper

Art Tiles are high quality small squares from the Bristol Collection. These tiles can be made by individuals by cutting large sheets of Bristol material into 4" or 6" squares. These tiles are a relatively expensive way to save time and energy. The paper is of good quality, both pencil and ink fit well.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No Instructions

Great product for all types of media

I am a pen and ink painter including zentangle and these tiles are great. I usually cut them in quarters so each tile is 3" x 3" for zentangles. The paper accepts all media well. I use Micron pens, markers and watercolor pencils and they all work very well. I am ordering this tile for the third time.

Pros
  • Arts, crafts and sewing
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Not for my type of watercolors

If you prefer to paint wet watercolors and like the effect of texture in your paintings, this paper is not for you. I didn't know I had a preference until I tried this paper. If you like smooth paper with your watercolors then you will love this one. I gifted this notebook to my friend who paints watercolor backgrounds and paints from above.

Pros
  • Bristol Paper & Parchment
Cons
  • Thin

I bought more!

They are sooooo good! Now I'm into Inktober torture and have bought more of these, but they're generally great for ink and markers. Compact enough to fit anywhere and convenient to use on any surface. All pages are easy to remove (some pages in the middle part really stick, but that's rare). Compatible with Copic markers, Japanese ink, Pencil (Meck and Trad), Sharpie markers, Chinese ink, blood, saliva, you name it! And they're Bristol, so they'll last a long time. I will buy more if needed…

Pros
  • Drawing, drawing and art supplies
Cons
  • Damaged
