Watercolor Test Paper

I saw the good reviews and decided to test this paper. It does not take color evenly and leaves an undesirable look when mixing pigments. I bought this to avoid the cotton paper prices but you get what you pay for. This is good practice paper but not ideal for professional painting.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Slightly Wrinkled

The best watercolor album I've ever had

it's worth it. The label says the pages are 100% cotton (I think) and they bind very well. Unlike many other ringless albums I've had in the past, this one opened easily. The case is great too! Looks like leather but is obviously synthetic. This is a hard cover. I have Canson watercolor paper of the same weight and weight, but it warps a lot less and takes paint much better. It also has a very nice smooth texture. 10/10 recommend!

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • damaged

The magazine itself is heavy, durable and despite the plain cover it is still beautiful. The paper is thick and strong to the touch, but can be mulched with any application of watercolor, Neocolor II crayons, Tombow markers and/or gouache. Any serious environment that requires water and more than one stroke to apply paint. he will mulch. Even if you start with acrylic paints, and then apply water-soluble materials - mulch. If you're creating whimsical portraits, a mulch-speckled face isn't…

Great quality for the price

I was looking for a quality paper watercolor magazine that I could buy at a reasonable price and I settled on this one. I am very happy with the results. I was expecting to paint 24 pictures as there are 24 sheets and I assumed I wouldn't be able to use the back, but the sides have held up very well to my washes and I expect to be able to use the back all these leaves. Pages. I use staples to hold the pages together to avoid warping and to hold the pages well. I am very happy with the…

I DON'T LIKE THIS WATERCOLOR MAGAZINE AT ALL

The weight of the magazine is wonderful, the hard cover is heavy and solid. When you open it, it feels like it's about to creak. Celebration. Good sign I thought. Paper is what matters, and paper is THICK, thicker than cardboard. You can hit him and get a loud BLOW for your troubles. Your first thought is to run to your brushes and paint to see what it will be. Open the last page and do a test. Maybe try a lighter color (okay, *I* did that) and touch the side with the brush. The paint lands…
