Strathmore Hardbound Watercolor Journal Sheets Painting, Drawing & Art Supplies Review

This paper claims to be ideal for watercolor painting, but it doesn't hold up to even the lightest washes. The texture is rough and uneven, making it difficult to apply paint smoothly. On the positive side, the pages are hardbound and won't easily tear or fall out of the book. However, for the price, there are much better options available for artists looking for high-quality watercolor paper.

This is a big beautiful book! I enjoy keeping an art journal, painting with watercolors, acrylics and making collages! It arrived on time and in good condition!

Would definitely recommend. For those who couldn't see the fine detail, that's 16 pages, but count front and back, which equals 32 available coloring pages plus 2 plain pages front and back - that's 140 pounds, 400 series, cold printed, wrought binding . and cream tone.
