Works well as intended

Seems to hold up to whatever pigment I throw in. Colored pencil, real brush pen, thin liners, watercolor markers and even colored pencils. Everything fit and moved well

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Excellent paper

This paper is heavy, allowing water and ink to stay on the surface longer than many watercolor papers. This means brighter colors and an easy lift. If you like thick paper, you will love it. This is a beautiful and unique 100% cotton paper.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Degraded

Not worth the money

I don't often leave reviews. But I think I have to leave feedback for other artists. First, I only paint on 100% cotton paper, so I know how cotton paper behaves. I've tried Arches, Heritage CP, HP and Rough, Fabriano CP and HP, Fluid 100 CP and HP, Stonehedge, etc. This Stathmore 500 paper is unlike any other cotton paper I've tried. After drying, the colors look very chalky and dull. Just like Kanson XL. I used art paints. My colors never look chalky or dull on other cotton papers. I'd rather

Pros

Cons
  • Expensive
