Boosts best in krypton and xenon lamps

Bought for my Streamlight Scorpion. Both bulbs broke trying to install and close the unit as the bulb doesn't just pop up like a regular flashlight and there is no direction once the bulb packaging is torn.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Negative impression

Need a tool to replace the bezel

Bought this and then found I needed a bezel removal tool to pull the lens out. I'm sure the bulb is great, but it's not just plug and play like Mag Light. I'm sure the bulb is fine, so I can't call the product. I just wish the description was clearer.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Have doubts

Disappointed with the best krypton and xenon bulbs

I first bought batteries for my Scorpion Streamlight. The original bulb burned out immediately. So I bought 2 replacement bulbs and the first one burned out after 10 minutes of use. Expect the same result with the second. I'll have to see if there's an alternative. Damn.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Pair with the correct battery or you're toast

Very sensitive to battery voltage. 123 cool flashlight batteries come in multiple voltages from 3 to 3.7 volts (meaning up to 4.5 volts). If you choose the wrong voltage, this lamp will burn out immediately. I burned $10 worth of lightbulbs before figuring out the problem. WORKS ONLY WITH 3 VOLT BATTERIES.

Pros
  • Everything is great!

No bulb in package, suitable for krypton and xenon bulbs

I received a new replacement bulb today but when I opened the package the bulb was not there. This lamp cost me over $12. The only thing I received was an empty package. As you can see from the photo it is covered in clear plastic, I thought the bulb would be behind the signs but it wasn't. Do you think someone who took it to the recycling center could look through the plastic and see there's no lightbulb?

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

3 blown on first use

Bought 3 all blown on first click, something is wrong here, I checked the voltage of the batteries I used, they were 2 tenergy batteries of 3.2 volts. Then I checked 2 123a lithium batteries, they were 3.4 volts, then I checked 3 flood light batteries and they were 3.3 volts. All three bulbs burned out when turned on. If all batteries fall within the prescribed voltage range, the over-voltage situation will be eliminated. This leaves a manufacturing defect. Either they changed the materials…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • A little torn

I bought batteries for my Streamlight NF flashlight which uses LED light. A minute later the flashlight stopped working and despite changing the battery several times it seemed dead. Those same batteries instantly blew out the bulb in the Smith and Wesson flashlight I had, so I chalked it up to slightly higher voltage batteries that blew my flashlights. (NF). What he didn't say is that it's not suitable for the LED version. I wrongly assumed that Streamlight would have rebranded their product…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubt
