This product broke (both straps) when trying to tie items and the handle also broke due to the springs being too small for the attachment clips.

Oh the ratchet straps - I use them to secure my bag to my roof when traveling they are great. I put them in the trunk of my car and take them with me. I think they will be used a lot. The shoulder straps themselves are very sturdy and the hardware is easy to use but well made, even hanging them up to test I'm not worried about them coming loose.

I've had many ratchet straps over the years and they're basically the same straps I've used since high school. They hold mountain bikes, kayaks, furniture, lumber and anything that isn't too heavy. I appreciate their extra length, which often comes in handy. Many straps I have are 10 feet long and often too short. They're cheap, but they'll do the job, and if they break, it's not a huge loss.

I use these straps all the time to attach my kayak to my roof rack and they work great. For such purposes I keep two of these straps in my van and leave the other two for my husband for his car so he can securely attach them when hauling wood and other awkward items. It made sense for us to have four packs because we use ratchet straps so much. They are lighter but for most of our work, especially my kayak, they fit perfectly.

We ordered these for our move and found them to be long enough to be used in the bed of a truck , but not over objects in the trailer. They are easy to use thanks to their smooth functioning. The hooks are strong and easily hook onto the truck bed brackets. Rolling them up to fit back in the case is a pill, but we've got some big rubber bands to wrap them around and we're happy with that. I'm impressed with these ratchet straps. They attach to a ratchet and then have S-shaped clips on the ends of 15ft straps. They're only an inch wide, but the seller says they have a tensile strength of 1,000 pounds. I have no way of verifying this claim, but I believe their claim. You seem terribly strong to me! I haven't tested them anywhere near their advertised £1000 limit, and for $25 I wouldn't dare. This set appears to be about the same quality as others in this price range. Simple hooks, no spring-loaded carabiner-style closure (which I prefer), and a very long 15-foot nylon length that's a little over the top. Brackets that tend to bang forward in my car and pierce leather seat backs. I used three ratchets and drove 50 mph around the interstate cloverleaf without the Regal moving. Only nits…
