My favorite shampoo!

I had no clue it came in such a large bottle. I have been now refilling my smaller shampoo bottles with this. Love this shampoo, it smells great and my hair loves it!

Pros
  • This is the ONLY shampoo that doesnt break my scalp out and helps with dandruff!
Cons
  • I have a terrible reaction to products that have polysorbate in it so I had to return this one :(

Safe ingredients - my new review

Free of Harmful Sulfates, Parabens, Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, Phthalates, Artificial DyesWhen I got it, I checked out the ingredients, and used it to wash my hair right away, it makes my hair feel so light I love it, because I stopped using any shampoos that contain sulfates and artificial dyes and less safe preservatives,So, this product is perfect for me.

Pros
  • COLOR SAFE CLEANSER: GIOVANNI’s Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo is suitable for all hair types, effectively removing buildup without stripping color from hair

Works But Without Great Scent of Paul Mitchell Tea Tree

This works well as a daily shampoo to prevent seborrhoeic dermatitis. I switched from the Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo due to the lower price. I think that I will go back to the Paul Mitchell next time since the lavender/mint scent on that is so wonderful and invigorating. The Giovanni has a faint fragrance, but it is not nearly as much of a wake up scent in the morning.

Pros
  • 2.75 x 3.25 x 12 inches; 9 Pounds
Cons
  • Not effective for hard water

Dimethicone best in my review

I was extremely disappointed to find this contains dimethicone as I follow a curly routine. I have used the tea tree triple treat shampoo in the smaller pump bottle and it has DIFFERENT ingredients than this one?! I didn’t think of checking ingredients since they are called the same thing. I purchased the gallon size thinking it would be the same since I use this shampoo often enough. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Beauty & Personal Care
Cons
  • May cause irritation around the hairline

Excellent product for my opinion

At close to $70/gallon including shipping, this stuff isn't the cheapest product you can buy. Yet buying it by the pint is still far more expensive. This is not a bargain shampoo price, but then again, this isn't a bargain shampoo but the bargain comes in how long it will last you. I have quite short hair but wash and rinse twice daily, and I get about 3-4 months out of a pint of product. Overall, I'd say I get about 3 times the mileage per oz than most other shampoos that I've used, with a…

Pros
  • I love this shampoo. Buying in bulk is the way to go. I love the Tingle and smell.
Cons
  • Can cause frizziness

Household favorite good for me

Works on multiple hair types, cleans great, and doesn’t strip the good stuff from your hair. The whole house uses and loves it so buying in bulk is great; we just refill the smaller pump bottles. I do think it works best with the triple treat conditioner but that’s personal preference. I also notice less grime in the showers than when we used different ‘poos. It burns like the fiery pits of hell if it gets in your eyes, so fair warning to sensitive types or kids who bathe themselves.

Pros
  • Great price! Works wonderful for my greasy oily hair!
Cons
  • Not effective for all hair types

Love this shampoo! good for me

This is a fabulous shampoo. I have long hair, so I save a lot of money buying the big container (and have fewer plastics to recycle!).

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • Not easily accessible in some areas

I have very long, thick, coarse hair that needs moisture but with a very good scalp cleansing effect. This shampoo is wonderful.but, mainly due to the herbal extracts, be very careful not to get it into your eyes [which sent me to the opthalmologist.]. This shampoo has increased dramatically in price on ebay.

Pros
  • LAURYL & LAURETH SULFATE FREE: GIOVANNI products do not contain harsh chemicals commonly used in regular beauty products, leaving you with strong, beautiful hair.
Cons
  • Can cause scalp tightness

Best shampoo - my new review

This is the first shampoo that I've used where I feel my scalp and hair are clean without residue. I love the refreshing and subtle peppermint/tea tree scent, and it doesn't make my hair feel dry at all. I started with the small bottle and thought why not just get this bottle since I know I won't be switching shampoo for a long while.

Pros
  • DEEP CLEAN: Enriched with Botanical Oils of cooling Peppermint, conditioning Rosemary and clarifying Eucalyptus, GIOVANNI Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo is the perfect daily hair treatment to strengthen, condition and clarify your hair
Cons
  • Not travel-friendly

Best natural dandruff shampoo ever

It may not be sold as dandruff shampoo, but this stuff does the job. Clarifies while offering a pleasant tingling sensation (thanks to the mint extracts). Smells wonderful! Cruelty free and all natural. In this size, you will have enough shampoo for your household for 2-3 years! Pair with the Triple Treat conditioner for dry hair.

Pros
  • GIOVANNI
Cons
  • Can shrink hair strands
