Great shoes. Definitely with a price and more.

At first these shoes looked big for my 1 year old. After wearing them a few times and then comparing them with Target cheap kids shoes, you can see the quality and better product than Target. They cost more but last longer and offer more support than other shoes.

Pros
  • Around the time my youngest daughter stopped taking her shoes off on her walker... she was finally able to find a pair of shoes that she likes.
Cons
  • A brand may not have a clear or consistent size chart, creating confusion and frustration for parents.

Great durable shoe

These were the best shoes for my 11 month old little boy. He has very wide feet because he's so soft lol, easy to undress but not so light that he can undress himself (which I like).

Pros
  • Very nice and light walking shoes.
Cons
  • Sneakers may be too wide for some infants' feet, causing discomfort and possible injury.

Big shoes for my toddler

These shoes fit my toddler's wide feet well. She is a new walker and this allows her to move easily. They can be easily put on the leg and fastened with Velcro.

Pros
  • Fits perfectly
Cons
  • Sneakers may not be in stock or available at certain retailers or online retailers.

Big very wide option

There aren't many extra wide options for toddlers so this one fits great and easily fits my 2 year old. Also excellent quality - some children's shoes wear out very quickly. I bought the next size up after she outgrew the first pair!

Pros
  • They are easy to put on and take off, are lightweight and don't sweat children's legs!
Cons
  • The straps may be too bulky or too tight for some children's feet, which can cause discomfort and irritation.

Money well spent! in my opinion

They are perfect for my little one! The great hold and the wide variant are great because they have little chubby feet! Excellent quality! I wouldn't normally pay that kind of money for a kids line that's growing so fast, but this little pair of shoes was worth every penny!

Pros
  • Soft and comfortable for a one year old baby. Adds stability. So far no problems
Cons
  • The design may not be as stylish or trendy as other kids' running shoes on the market.

Fits my baby's big old hobbit feet

According to the Stride Rite website, we ended up going a very large size and they fit perfectly! It took our daughter a while to adjust to this (a covid baby who has spent most of her life in a nappy) but after a minute she forgets she's even wearing them!

Pros
  • Comfortable well not waterproof
Cons
  • Sneakers may not fit snugly on some children's feet, which can lead to stumbling.

Excellent shoes in my review

I love Stride Rite shoes for my little one. They fit well, come in wide sizes and are of excellent quality. I will continue to buy when the child outgrows them. Unfortunately, this quality seems to come at a steep price. Luckily she wore a size 4 for a while.

Pros
  • supportive. Cute . Good Velcro
Cons
  • The brand may not offer parents a wide enough range of colors and styles.

Great shoes for young hikers

Our local rite was closed due to Covid. I prefer soft soles for my kids in the early stages of walking. These smooth movements were as expected and fit like a glove!

Pros
  • We love these shoes. They are easy to put on, easy to hold and finally wide enough for my baby's foot!
Cons
  • Sneakers may not be breathable enough, leading to excessive sweating and discomfort.

Need wide shoes for AFO and they are perfect

We needed extra wide shoes for my child who wears AFO. You are perfect. They are in great condition after a few months, even with crawling. We have 3x width.

Pros
  • Very cute but I would advise you to try it on. they seemed small. The size she normally wears was too small for her.
Cons
  • The brand name may be unfamiliar or unrecognizable to some parents, leading to skepticism and doubt.

Odd shoe shape

We love the Stride Rite for LO shoes and can usually rely on the right size to fit right away, but they look and fit odd. First, these two shoes don't "look" like left and right, but "either/or," so it's off-putting. They also appear to be narrow, although we ordered the wide ones. I actually compared them to another pair in the exact same style and they don't look the same. LO didn't last long in it, but we definitely didn't wear them as often as the other pairs she has. They only put shoes in

Pros
  • 100% Synthetic
Cons
  • Available in white only

Very practical, great fit and cute!

I thought our 1 year old daughter wouldn't like wearing shoes but she thought it was fun! More of a help than a hindrance to our budding walker, she's the best time outdoors. A thin rubber outsole protects her feet so she can feel the ground and keep her balance. They also look very cute! We used the StrideRite sizing system, printed out a size chart, and measured her feet using her template. It ended up being a size 6 XW. I think we got the right size on the first try and I was happy to find a

Pros
  • Branded memory foam insoles for extra comfort
Cons
  • So far so good

Easy to put on for fat feet!

My 12 month old girl has started to walk a lot and we were looking to buy her her first pair of shoes. We tried different styles of Crocs and they weren't easy to put on with clunky feet, and some styles were tight. I bought the new Balance size 4 regular and size 4 wide. Size 4 is wide but it was not easy to put the shoes on. It's hard to put shoes on this girl. She wants to play with it, not wear it. Then came these great shoes. The step rite was already wider and it was so easy to set her on

Pros
  • Flexible rounded soles to encourage natural movement and improve balance
Cons
  • Doubtful
