These shoes looked great and were comfortable for my son but their durability was a little disappointing. This is our first pair of Stride Rite shoes that didn't last more than a year. At $50 a pair, falling apart so easily isn't ideal. The toe of one shoe completely detached from the sole. If you're not wearing them as part of your everyday outfit, they'll probably last longer, but I wouldn't recommend them as casual shoes for kids.

I placed an order on September 27, 2020, today October 29, 2020 is the last day to return it. I mention this fact to give you an idea of how long , or how it didn't take long for these shoes to start falling apart, not because I want to return them, although I think they have a serious manufacturing defect they would at least have should last a few months. My 5 year old just started wearing these shoes 3 1/2 weeks ago to school on October 5th 2020 instead of the weekend. He wears them from 7:30
