My son loves these shoes. The wide and extra options are great for his sensory issues around his legs. However, given the cost of these shoes, I didn't expect them to fall apart in the first week. That's very disappointing. The step ritual should work better.

I bought these because I know my daughter's stride rite would go well with them. These shoes are ideal for children with wide feet.

I really liked the look and durability of this shoe. Plus, they go with almost everything! But after wearing it for several hours, my baby got a serious wound on his foot. As you notice, the upper of the shoe has elastic straps. But they were not elastic enough and were too tight. I even ordered Extra Extra Wide to avoid any inconvenience. There were no problems with the width, only at the top.

I have bought many pairs of Stride Rites Made2Plays. One pass through the laundry and they're destroyed! I don't think it's possible to ask for a refund. UPDATE 1/2/2022: Revain was able to get a refund. I wish you the best of luck with the new couple.

They're a lot harder to put on and take off than other rites of passage we've had. The velcro is thin and doesn't come off easily to put your foot in. I will not buy this style again. But otherwise it corresponds to the quality of the Rite of the Steps.

Although they were labeled 'wide', due to the elastic laces, they were very tight and actually pinched my grandson's legs. I cut them off completely and now these are his "gaming" shoes.

This product is good but too small. I bought my son a wide ax and it is not wide at all. Actually has an elastic material that makes it very tight. My daughter also has a pair and her tiny skinny feet find these sneakers too tight.

We usually love this brand, but this pair isn't worth the money. My son takes them off during school because they are very uncomfortable and comes home with the velcro undone. I thought they might need to be hacked but after 3 days I'm ready to give up.

These colorful shoes are holding up pretty well to my active 4 years. She loves rainbow pictures and can run, play and jump in comfortably without twisting her ankles.

The colors match almost every outfit. Velcro is comfortable for my daughter. Best of all, the insole slides out for easy cleaning. She says they are comfortable. I went up a size as I would with any shoe and they still fit great. She only wore them for a week so I'm not sure about longevity but they seem sturdy. No complaints.

Good sneakers. Fits perfectly. The laces needed replacing almost immediately. But I would recommend them. Just keep in mind that you will probably need to buy another set of laces as these laces will fall apart within two weeks of wearing them.
