Too difficult to put on in my opinion

I love Stride Rite shoes but unfortunately they are making a comeback. They are so difficult to put on even though we picked them up. I will still buy Stride Rite shoes but will be looking for a model that is easier for a 2 year old to put on.

Pros
  • a little hard.
Cons
  • Shoes are difficult to clean and maintain

great shoes in my opinion

Stray Rituals are great! Excellent quality. Never had a problem with them. I've been buying the brand for 10 years and also wore it as a child. I recently bought this pair for my child and have had no problems. I have already washed and machine dried them, no damage or breakage. Make no mistake with Stride Rites!

Pros
  • Very beautiful, cute and high quality
Cons
  • Toddlers may find it difficult to use the shoe closure system alone.

Go with Ikiki for wide-legged babes

Spent $35 on "baggy" shoes that never fit. My 1 year old inherited his father's very wide feet and unfortunately they didn't fit even though I ended up with very wide feet. I can see that these are good shoes, but not for children with wide or thick feet. Our ikiki squeaky shoes are perfect and have plenty of room. Will have to take them with me on all future purchases.

Pros
  • There are favorite shoes of our children. She wears them almost every day and never complains of leg pain. Love her!
Cons
  • Shoes can scuff or scratch floors and surfaces.

Not really wide width

Not true width. Only New Balance seems to be reliable in terms of width. Not the first time I've returned Stride Right shoes. sad because they used to be a popular brand of children's shoes

Pros
  • Why bed reviews? They hold up fantastic! I would say they fit true to size but when in doubt go up a size!
Cons
  • Shoes may not last long enough, leading to frequent replacements and expense.

Wide fit for toddlers - finally

Finally you will find wide shoes for toddlers. My granddaughter has a wide foot and it's hard to find the width without buying 2 sizes bigger!

Pros
  • Fits perfectly
Cons
  • The soles of the shoes can be too slippery, which can be a potential hazard for young children.

Great shoes - my review

They fit my daughter perfectly and she seems to love them. They are easy to put on and take off. She walks and runs easily in these shoes. These are very durable shoes. We are happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Ideal!
Cons
  • The sole of the shoe may come off or loosen, which could result in injury or an accident.

So comfortable and durable

Make no mistake with Stride Rite. Always quality shoes. Comfortable for my child with very wide feet. These wide elastics are ideal (the thinner ones are too tight and uncomfortable).

Pros
  • Beautiful, comfortable, easy to put on and take off
Cons
  • Shoes can cause blisters or chafing, especially on long walks or games.

Excellent children's shoes

Super cute and great quality. They fit as expected and my toddler is fine with them. They are very easy to keep clean and just what I've come to expect from Stride Rite.

Pros
  • These are sneakers for my 3 year old.
Cons
  • Shoe size may not be compatible: some pairs may be too small or too big.

Go up a size in my rating.

Really good shoes, but definitely take a size up. They are narrow which means they squeeze my 1 year old's foot in shoes a bit. They look great and are comfortable after a few tries in size.

Pros
  • My daughter loves them!
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with wider or narrower feet.

The size is not really the same. Really disappointed.

I received these shoes for my little one today. He usually wears a size 5 but I ordered a size 6 so it would last. but unfortunately it is too small for him. It was so difficult to put shoes on him. I'm very disappointed because he can't wear it and I don't understand how to return it now in this Covid 19 situation. I wish I could get a replacement.

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great first shoe

Bought for my 9 month old baby who is learning to walk so his bare feet don't burn on the hot floor in Miami in the summer. The shoes fit perfectly (I measured his foot with a tape measure and followed the size chart) and they cover just enough of the ankle to support his wobbly new walking legs. In addition, the shoe has a solid construction, excellent rubber grip and good sole support. I've been told that Stride Rite is the best brand of shoes for toddlers and they didn't disappoint.

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Non automatic

Good quality, perfect size!

sneakers in good quality! I bought these for my 13 month old because I couldn't find the right size in local stores. He had outgrown the size 4 (or 24 month old) bootees sold at local stores, but he was not yet able to change into size 5 booties. The toddler shoe listings on Revain were confusing. It was hard to be sure I was getting a toddler size instead of a kid size. But they were perfect! They have a real standard outsole, as you would expect from a real running shoe. The velcro is niceโ€ฆ
