Bubbles + run small

Terrible. First, they were half a size smaller than another pair of Stride-Rite shoes even though I ordered the same size. My baby had blisters in 3 places. Over the past year I've noticed a dramatic drop in the quality of the Stride Rite, both in terms of comfort and durability. I will no longer buy Stride-Rite shoes unless I can find models that are more than a year old.

Pros
  • Sporty

Small and uncomfortable - not recommended

I buy Stride Rite shoes for my 5 year old before he can walk and have always been happy with the size. and quality. They are aesthetic and hold up well but my son hates wearing them. He has the same size Stride Rite Hudsen sandals and they were great, but they are smaller and hurt his feet. I would not recommend them and I would like to read other reviews more carefully.

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

Painful shoes for a child - avoid

My son has been wearing Stride Rite Made 2 Play water shoes for 2 summers with no problems (and only wore Stride Rite brand shoes for 4 years) so at the beginning of the summer I got the current ones Found the version (this one) and bought the right size. I was shocked when my son, who had been wearing it for two days, complained to his teacher and me that his shoes hurt his toes, and when I pulled his foot out, both feet had small patches of red spots and peeling skin. He has plenty of room…

Pros
  • water shoes
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
