My son loves these shoes and can't bring himself to wear any other shoes. They were inexpensive and they are leather! They held up pretty well. My son has been in them by the creek and running in puddles, although I don't encourage that, LoL. I will definitely buy brown, maybe black again.

Velcro is terrible for the cost of these shoes. My son wore them for 1 month before the straps stopped sticking. Now I have to look in a new Velcro or throw away the shoes. This isn't the first time this has happened with Stride-Rite shoes. These are great shoes and our son enjoys wearing them as long as they are well made.

They fit my son perfectly. He was 15-16 months old and still a little unsteady on his feet. Despite this, he was still trying to walk on our tile floors! We've had failures, stumbles, and all kinds of bumps and bruises. This helped him steady his legs and ankles as he hobbled around. We noticed a lot fewer falls and he picked up speed.
