Not Worth the Investment

After trying this industrial and scientific drill bit extension, I was incredibly disappointed with its performance. While it did provide a bit of added length, it was ultimately ineffective in drilling through harder surfaces. The only pro was that it's made of durable materials. Unfortunately, the cons outweighed any pros. I would not recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable and effective cutting tool.

Pros
  • Provides extended reach for ice fishing
Cons
  • May cause added weight and difficulty in handling the auger

Solid Extension - Drill

This extension is perfect for my 10" Strikemaster Drill and my Honda Power Head. Good price and fast delivery can't be beat.

Works best as intended in Electric Drill Parts & Accessories

I bought this item to use with an earth auger although it is designed for an ice auger. I had to modify it to fit by cutting off the area underneath where it attaches to the auger (although this may not be necessary for the ice-versus-earth augers). The steel isn't very thick and is quite soft to the touch, but it worked well for drilling. five 8 inch holes through sandy bottom with some rocks and roots. It showed no significant wear. I'm sure it will work well and last as long as I need it.
