🔸 Stromberg Carlson FP-1002-R Foam Grip Cover Review

This product is complete garbage. First, it's not sticky. Not a single surface. Doesn't stick to itself. The supplied ribbon cannot be separated from the paper. I usually don't give a star, but this time I had to.

Like it, but don't like it. It's just a rubber sleeve with a little black tape on either end. So far it's working, but I suspect that in a year the tape will come loose and I'll have to start all over again. Maybe this product will last longer with a stronger tape.

This worked very well on our RV door handle (shape as shown). We like the feel more than the "pool noodle" feel of another style of pencil case. My husband had to make sure the ends fit snugly and I think he used extra tape.

I used to prevent a set of dive bars from sliding on carpets. I wrapped the extreme edge of the bottom of each side from 1/4 of this film. Works great, doesn't slip under weight. Off label this stuff but works great for what I wanted to do.

I really don't recommend it to anyone. Not very happy with the design. The quality is there and the grip is good. However, the tape you use to seal the end of the packaging is just awful. It doesn't work and is already looking for a replacement. It's been a month and I don't think it will be long. Use your money to buy something else.

I am completely satisfied with this replacement band. The material is a high quality foam rubber with a thin edge to ensure proper overlap when wrapped around the pipe. Mine actually looks better than the stock photos, it's comfortable and the rubber doesn't slip off like a factory grip (anyone with Stromberg grips knows what I'm talking about).

I used this grip sheet to replace the grip on my Sun Mountain 3 wheel golf cart and it works great! Two things to note: (1) you will need two of these pieces to complete your trolley handle, and (2) I would recommend black electrical tape to secure the ends instead of the vinyl tape that came in the box. This is a non-standard application of the handle and has worked well so far.

This is a good replacement for the original easy to fit foam grip. The handle does not need to be disassembled for use. I gave four stars because of the tape that secures the ends of the handle. Duct tape doesn't hold up well in hot climates like Arizona. After a while they break out in the heat. What I did with it was wrap both ends with "lifeline" which seems to be holding up well.
