Did the job. The best in shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Easy installation. Now my hood stays up again. Probably saved $100-$200 compared to the store or dealer. Use a large flat head screwdriver to pry off the old ones and just put in the new ones.

Pros
  • Easy installation in minutes - no special tools required. Please read the description and compatibility chart below before purchasing.
Cons
  • So far so good

So far so good: Spare parts

Recently purchased and installed on a 2013 Lexus Rx350. Much better than what it was. I'll judge before winter to see if the cold takes her too far. I used to use more expensive products but decided to try these. Also, they don't have a right or left hand like the OEM. They are interchangeable.

Pros
  • Quantity: 2 pieces | Placement on Vehicle: Bonnet | Front left and right
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Excellent Value for Parts

Okay that's kinda. Stealership in Northern California "offered" to replace the hood pillars for $350 EACH. So, just short of a 15 minute job, it was a. Save 3400%? I didn't have a screwdriver that was both long and narrow enough to pry out the locking clip, so I used a utility knife to start with. Used an old broom handle to lift the hood when replacing. It is also recommended to wear gloves.

Pros
  • Front Engine Cover Gas Struts Brackets Shock Absorbers Shock Absorbers Springs Link Arms Cylinder Suspension Kit Spare Parts for 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 Lexus RX350 RX450h Bonnet
Cons
  • Must Be Boring Packaging

Easy to install; Great Value

These cowl stays are several times cheaper than the original parts which cost between $150 and $180. (By the way, I've never seen a hood brace fail on a car before.) Although no instructions came with the new stands, I literally spent more time watching youtube videos installing them than replacing them. Attaches to the bonnet by inserting a broomstick through the engine compartment to hold the bonnet up after the struts are removed. On both sides, I found that the existing posts popped out…

Pros
  • Extended Length: 20.20", Compressed Length: 12.18"
Cons
  • Large and Bulky
